Day 6: Create A Canvas
Now that we have found and organized our photos, picked photos to print, deleted our duplicates, and backed up our photo libraries, let’s start creating!
Today’s prompt is ‘Create A Canvas’ and here is one that I recently made:
I had these photos from a family photo shoot taken last fall that I was dying to do something with. I wanted to create something to display in my home, and I thought a canvas would be a great way to do that.
My canvas was made using Close to My Heart’s (recently retired) Canvas Art Kit. It came with the pre-printed canvas, two sets of chipboard, some sparkles, and a coordinating stamp set. Even though this is no longer available, you could easily recreate this with your own supplies or with a quick visit to your local craft store for canvas and scrapbooking materials.
Here are some close-ups:
Creating a canvas is a unique and fun way to display your photos. There are so many different ways to make these. In fact, here are some other DIY photo canvas projects I found on Pinterest.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to head back tomorrow for Day 7.
