Today we’ll be talking all about mini albums!
What are they?
Mini albums, or mini books, are a simply a scrapbook in miniature form. They come in many shapes and sizes, can be done by any type of scrapbooker, They are portable, easy to hold and peruse, and look great on a shelf or coffee table.
Make your own
With office supplies, like this one with 5×7″ photos and binder rings:
A Cricut cartridge, like Artbooking:
Paper bags, envelopes, or manilla folders:
Shutterfly, Snapfish, or may other photo processors offer books as small as 5×5″. Check to see if your favorite place to order pictures offers them.
Why they may be a good fit for you:
- They allow you to focus on a specific person, event, season, or holiday.
- They come in many different sizes and shapes.
- They make great gifts, especially for grandparents.
- Because of the small size, they are perfect for Instagram prints.
- They are fun!
Use papers and embellishments from a collection to unify your mini album.
